Amsterdam Fashion Institute alumna Demi Simaite founded in 2016 the aesthetic 
fashion brand Noumenon. The collections can be described as a combination of ethical fashion and sophisticated design. The products are made from natural materials such as linen, organic cotton and cupro. Furthermore recycled materials such as Tencel are used as well.
In sum, all fabrics originate from Europe, are vegan and GOTS certified. The latter implies, the fabrics must contain at least 70% of organic fibres. Noumenon is also affiliated to the Better Cotton initiative, concerning the environmental, social and economic aspects of sustainability. Aiming on learning cotton farmers to be independent and stimulating sustainable cotton to become mainstream.
Additionally, the brands’ labels, tags and packaging are also made from recycled material. Orders are delivered by BIRO, a 100% electric car.
